West Van business owners have called on council to halt the program in Ambleside Park, saying they’re losing money to spillover effects.
Local elections are still six months away in British Columbia, but in a number of municipalities the race is already firming up. As Justin McElroy reports, that includes West Vancouver where a journalist who criticized the mayor is now running against him.
