Don Shafer is a veteran broadcaster who was my boss as the founder of Roundhouse Radio, a Vancouver FM station last decade. I was his morning, then his evening host of three hours daily of interviews on an array of topics. In all, I think I had 3,000 guests in my time at Roundhouse.
The station has closed and Don has since pursued a Ph.D in his 70s. He now creates a podcast and lives on Bowen Island. He is a great conversationalist.
